Billesley Manor

The Billesley Manor dates back to the 16th century – a gorgeous manor house where William Shakespeare is said to have penned “As You Like It”. Thanks to an extensive interior refurbishment, this sumptuous country manor set in 11 acres of grounds, just three miles from Stratford-upon-Avon, offers visitors a taste of old England and combines it with modern, contemporary styling and deluxe interiors that befit its status. Steeped in history, while its 100-year-old topiary gardens and superb indoor and outdoor leisure facilities make it a relaxing destination in its own right. New look, same superb service We’ve refreshed the reception area and the public areas with new carpets and stylish furniture that complement the rich fabric of the historic building, yet are modern, warm and inviting. While the lounge, bar and reception each has its own distinctive look, you’ll find colour palettes and patterns that bring these areas together. A number of our 72 bedrooms have also been updated. The deep oak panelled walls of the deluxe four-poster suite are now complemented by a plaid carpet in taupe, grey, and brown, and neutral bedding. These neutral tones are offset by a chic sofa, chaise longue and chair in striking teal and purple, which add a sense of decadence. And our refurbished deluxe rooms feature fresh muted tones in the bedroom and Victorian-style bathrooms – all perfect for when you want to relax in true comfort.
